Favorite Class at Olivet: Latin American Culture & Civilization.

Best Olivet Memory: Meeting my best friend, Jackie, while doing laundry in the basement of Williams Hall during band camp as a freshman. We still crack up when we think of our awkward first meeting.

Hobbies: I love to listen to/make music, watch movies with my family, have occasional dance parties alone in my room and read a good book.

Favorite Extracurricular activity: Singing with Orpheus Choir. I found some of my closest friends through this group. Dr. Jeff Bell and Carole Bell are some of my favorite humans.

What makes Olivet different from other universities: The people. People here have changed my life for the better. They've been a beautiful, hope-giving reflection of Jesus to me through the heartbreaking trials of life. People here care deeply.

Favorite place to eat in town: Isidro's all the way! Their al pastor tacos are actually authentic. Do yourself a favor and get the creamy green salsa.

Favorite campus tradition: Orpheus Variety Show, Hispanic Heritage Dinner and our Christmas concert, "Sounds of the Season"!

Advice for new students: Let people in! You can still be strong and brave while being vulnerable and letting others love you. Also, get involved wherever God opens a door.

Favorite Bible Verse: Micah 6:8
