The Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Computing Technology is a great path that develops entry- to mid-level computing professionals.
Like the Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degrees offered in the Department of Computer Science and Emerging Technologies, it centers around a core set of courses. Instead of picking a concentration, this degree path allows students to create a more individualized learning path. Students gain a solid computing technology framework while having the freedom to choose the courses they think would apply best to their career goals.
Certifications
While in the Computer Science program, students are given the opportunity to receive up to thirteen different certifications. Two of the certifications available to students studying Computing Technology are CompTIA Network+ and CompTIASecurity+.
