My Olivet story: I actually grew up on campus! My dad was a resident director in Olivet's Grand Apartments, so I had Olivet as my own backyard. After officially visiting Olivet as a junior in high school, I knew quickly this was where I wanted to spend the next big chapter of my life.
Favorite place to eat in town: Taco Bell for a variety of reasons, but here's my favorite reason why.
Hobbies: Theatre is a great passion of mine! Throughout high school and college, I stayed involved in the Kankakee County community theatre organizations, KVTA and Acting Out. Big Marvel fan. Big Star Wars fan. I do freelance videography for weddings, small business promotions, and just for fun! I was involved in Orpheus Choir for 5 years while being a student and I love finding ways to continue to be involved with music - an outlet for that is serving on GatheringPoint church's worship team!
Best Olivet memory: My sophomore year at Olivet, Bourbonnais got hit with a record breaking snow storm. I will never forget waking up to an email from ONU's VP David Pickering stating,"Due to extreme weather conditions, classes have been cancelled for the remainder of the week." Legendary.
Favorite Thing to do in Bourbonnais: Since I'm a townee I know where all the best spots are. (Ask me if you want to know about some hidden gems.) I enjoy seeing movies! We have three movie theaters in the area all with different vibes.
Favorite Class at Olivet: Media News & Interviewing with Prof. Bishop. We spent an entire semester writing and filming news stories around campus! It didn't ever feel like a class because of how much I enjoyed the work. Guess I picked the right major!
