Campus is buzzing again with Olivet Nazarene University’s students and faculty! This week, the student leadership teams devoted their time to preparing for the new academic year.

Fall Revival at Olivet Nazarene University is a tradition that continues to hold meaning for students, faculty and staff. This year was no exception.

Leading up to the observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day 2018, Dr. Bowling addressed the gathering of students, staff and faculty in Centennial Chapel with this life-altering question. In his message, he shared a quote from Dr. King: “The time is always ripe to do right.” He challenged everyone to show the love of God in how they relate with other people.

Dr. Bowling also extended a special welcome to new students and international students. He encouraged all students to intentionally meet more people and expand their circles of relationships this semester.

Olivet Nazarene University is excited to announce the launch of our Tiger Pause initiative! The entire campus is focused on providing a robust academic environment this fall and we wanted to emphasize a few action steps that will help keep our community safe and healthy. 

Tiger Pause signage will be posted around campus to remind students, faculty, staff, and visitors of the importance of simple actions including wearing a face covering, keeping the “paws” clean, and maintaining a social distance of 6-feet whenever possible.

This fall at Olivet Nazarene University, all students, staff, faculty and campus guests are expected to wear a face covering while on campus. To help keep everyone safe and covered, BamBams, LLC, owned by alumnus and president of Olivet’s Alumni Board, Dan Taylor ’79 generously donated 93,600 KN95 face masks to the University.

​Spiritual development for students, faculty and staff is part of vibrant experience at Olivet Nazarene University. Every Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. and Thursday at 9:30 a.m., the campus community meets in Centennial Chapel to hear from leading speakers representing a variety of industries and faith backgrounds. Chaplain Tone Marshall and the team in the Office of Spiritual Development take leadership for organizing the services. 

His message set a reflective tone for the year ahead, inviting students, faculty, and staff to explore the true meaning of being “blessed” and to find happiness even in the face of hardship.
