Academic Advising & Support

Welcome to Olivet Nazarene University’s Office of Academic Support. As Dean, I am interested in providing faculty and students with the resources needed to succeed in achieving “An Education with a Christian Purpose.” Academic Support includes the assessment of student learning, oversight of the general education curriculum, the facilitation of academic experiences of freshmen through advising during the freshman year experience, administration of study abroad experiences, guidance to faculty development, and serving with Student Development to ensure student academic success.

Many of these programs and initiatives involve a variety of levels of involvement from administrators, faculty, staff, and students. Academic Support seeks to facilitate the work of the entire campus community in academic achievement. For faculty and student alike, I welcome you to explore the many educational experiences available at Olivet and use the services of Academic Support to succeed in your scholarly and professional interests.
