Residence hall living is regarded as an important aspect of the Christian academic community that Olivet seeks to foster. Resident directors and resident assistants live within student residence halls, providing guidance, information and help, ensuring a positive living experience for every student. The staff seeks to maintain an environment that is conducive to social, academic and spiritual growth.
Residence hall living is often the highlight of one’s university career. Community living offers a personal growth aspect that classroom learning does not. Conflict resolution and communication skills, emotional growth, and spiritual strength are often the result of living 24/7 with fellow classmates.
We are sure that you will enjoy the experience of campus living at Olivet Nazarene University. We are so confident in this that we continue to maintain a residential campus policy that requires students 22 years or younger to live on campus. We feel that living on campus has a vital impact on students today, and we want each of you to encounter a wonderful life-changing experience.
