Student 4 Student

  • Covering tuition costs is a big challenge for a lot of families; there’s no denying it. Working together, however, we can all make the Olivet experience a reality for more students. Current Olivet students have caught that vision, and their generosity inspires other giving!

  • The Olivet experience wouldn’t be possible were it not for sacrificial gifts from many sources. Through Student 4 Student, current students pool their resources with gifts from their peers to create new scholarships for one another.

    Students support the initiative through practical options:

    • Collect extra change in a jar on the dresser
    • Forfeit one latte per month and redirect their funds to help fellow students
    • Participate in service projects and Student 4 Student-sponsored events throughout the year

    The impact multiplies 

    The size of a student’s gift doesn’t matter as much as the number of people participating. What’s more, the 50-year reunion class from each graduating year is asked to match student gifts, potentially doubling, tripling or even quadrupling the impact.

    Needy and worthy recipients are awarded Student 4 Student scholarships in the fall and spring semesters. Thus, Olivet becomes a reality for more students!
