The STEM Camp is an amazing opportunity for high school students (who have completed Algebra II/Trig) and college transfer students to lay the groundwork for a successful four-year engineering degree. The camp is designed for students to receive hands-on experience with state-of-the-art engineering facilities and equipment while being mentored by faculty with years of engineering expertise.
Upon successful completion of the camp and online homework both before and after the camp, students will have the opportunity to complete additional work to earn 3 credit hours for ENGR 101: Engineering Design I, the introductory engineering course at Olivet, for no additional cost — textbooks included!
To apply, submit a completed STEM Camp application and pertaining documents by June 2, 2017. The credit hours, room, board and experiences of the STEM Camp are valued at more than $2,100, but through generous Olivet scholarships, the cost to you is only $800. In order to secure your spot in the camp, you must submit a $200 deposit (this is not in addition to the total cost) by June 2, 2017. Registration after June 2, 2017 will result in a $100 late fee.
You can submit your deposit/make a payment by clicking here. Full payment is due no later than your arrival to STEM Camp on June 18th.
The STEM Camp takes place on the campus of Olivet Nazarene University from June 18 - June 24. Online homework will open on Monday, June 5th. Final submission dates will be announced at the camp and will be sometime in July.
