    Who are the Nazarenes? 

    The Church of the Nazarene is a Protestant, Christian denomination in the Wesleyan-Holiness tradition. Organized in 1908, the Church of the Nazarene is now home to more than 2 million members worshiping in more than 26,000 local congregations in 156 world areas.

    Fitting in 

    Olivet is an inviting and caring community. Nearly 50 different denominations are represented among the student body.

    Local churches 

    Nearly 700 Nazarene churches on the Olivet region (Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Wisconsin) support the University through their financial giving and prayer support.
