    Olivet Nazarene University is honored to host the 2013 CBFA Annual Meeting and Conference, “The Future of Business Education: Leveraging our Past & Building Our Future.” The conference will give special attention to innovative ideas in scholarship, teaching and community service. As always, we encourage thoughtful ideas and practices related to faith integration.

    Conference Fee: The conference price is $375 total ($325 + $50 CBFA membership fee). Regular registration will open early summer and go through September 16. After that date, an additional late fee of $50 will be assessed. Guest/spouse fee is $150 (includes meals, trip into Chicago and associated activity). After September 5: additional $200 fee. 

    Special Pre-conference Workshop: Thursday, October 17, “Management as a Liberal Art: Insights from Peter Drucker, Our Christian Faith and the Practice of Management.” The Center for Integrity in Business at Seattle Pacific University, in cooperation with Olivet Nazarene University and Christian Business Faculty Association (CBFA), present this outstanding pre-conference event. For more details about this, click here. For CBFA registered members, the fee is only an additional $25 to cover breaks, lunch and materials.

    Trip to the Chicago Loop, Friday Afternoon: Friday afternoon/evening will feature a special trip to downtown Chicago, where each participant will choose to participate in one major field trip or activity. (Attendance of guests and spouses is included in fee.) The cost of your chosen activity is built into the price of the conference, so no additional charges will be made for this. Some of the choices are limited, so we encourage you to select your choice as soon as registration opens. Besides visiting the world-class city of Chicago, those who have attended CBFA conferences in the past will attest that some of the best networking takes place on bus trips!

    If you cannot go to Chicago, some local options will be available that evening. You may stay on campus and network, or relax at the hotel.
