Spanish Teaching Major, B.S.35 hours Required: SPAN 211 - Intermediate Spanish I 212 - Intermediate Spanish II 284 - Spanish Phonetics 321 - Spanish Culture & Civilization 322 - Latin American Culture & Civilization 341 - Advanced Spanish Conversation 345 - Advanced Spanish Composition 361 or 362 - Spanish Literature 450 - Introduction to Interpretation/Translation 495 - Senior Seminar 498 - Study Abroad (8 hours) At least six consecutive weeks of study are required in a country where Spanish is the primary language. Students must submit a plan of study to be approved in advance by the department.
