  • Focusing on the study of theology expands your knowledge of what the Bible actually says, the historical context and the impact of denominational interpretations. Your professors not only have advanced degrees, but also have a wealth of experience in applying biblical truth to ministry and daily life.

Studying theology is an excellent way to explore and develop your faith, and adding it to other courses of study is very manageable. You will not just learn theology; you will learn how to think theologically. You will find answers to your questions, and you will leave with more questions to keep considering.

    At Olivet, you can:

    • Deepen your understanding of Christian doctrine.
    • Learn about the historic development of Christianity and its various traditions.
    • Compare your own faith tradition with other major Christian traditions.
    • Relate Christian thought to other disciplines of knowledge.
    • And so much more!

    Putting knowledge to work
