Putting knowledge to work
A five-hour internship is required for this program. Our students have completed internships with a variety of local and national companies, including: Youth for Christ, Sunrise Health Foods, Chic Weddings Inc., St. Bernard Hospital, Butterfield Court Senior Living, University of Illinois Extension Service.

American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences offers a national certification exam for the family and consumer sciences professional (CFCS).
