Graduate Areas of Study

Master of Arts in Religion
Dr. Carl Leth, Coordinator

Olivet Nazarene University’s mission is to equip men and women for lives of service to God and humanity. The Master of Arts: Religion program serves that mission by preparing men and women at a graduate level in theology, Biblical Studies and Christian ministry. Graduates of this program are prepared for service in ministry or the pursuit of further graduate studies.

Our teaching faculty is well-qualified, representing both high levels of scholarly competence and demonstrated competence in the practice of ministry. Our use of residential faculty and highly qualified adjunct faculty provides rich resources for theological education.

Our courses are offered in a variety of formats, including weekly class sessions, a combination of online and on-site, and week-long modules. You can take up to four years to finish the program.

For residential full-time students, study fellowships and teaching/graduate assistant opportunities are available.
