Olivet Nazarene University‘s Education programs, accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education, are designed to equip educators with the knowledge they need to make a difference in the life of every K–12 student in our schools. We believe in the influence of teachers.

We also know you lead a busy life. Our accelerated programs are tailored to your unique needs as an adult learner. Classes meet one night per week or on the weekends, much of the coursework is completed in collaborative learning teams, an entering class stays together throughout a program and programs can be completed in 24 months or less. At the same time, our programs feature the academic rigor you would expect from a leading liberal arts university.

Olivet’s Master of Arts in Education: English program aims to provide improved instructional methods for middle and secondary school English language arts teachers. As a student in this program, you will interact with fellow teachers to share theories, content and effective practices for meeting the needs of today’s English language arts classroom.
