Master of Ministry

Olivet Nazarene University’s mission is to equip men and women for lives of service to God and humanity. We also believe in training others to do the same, through full-time Christian ministry.
We know you lead a busy life. Our programs are tailored to your unique needs as an adult learner. You can take up to six years to finish the Master of Ministry degree program, which includes 10 courses. Courses are offered in week-long teaching modules.
Our Religion programs are designed to prepare current and future ministers for effective leadership in their congregations by developing in them theological and practical knowledge with a missional focus. Our Master of Ministry program focuses on integrating the best available resources of scholarship, ministry specialists and contemporary ministry models with the practice of ministry.
You can choose from two tracks of study in the Master of Ministry program: a General track and a Strategic Church Leadership track. Or, you can opt for a Certificate in Ministerial Studies, comprised of any five courses offered in the Master of Ministry program.
