Plan now to join us for Prime Time Day, Tuesday September 25 from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. in the Hawkins Centennial Chapel! We have a full day of Christian entertainment and inspiration planned featuring Gaither recording artists, the Talleys and General Superintendent in the Church of the Nazarene, J.K. Warrick as our special speaker. Come join hundreds of other prime timers from across the Midwest for this annual event!
Our musical guests, The Talleys, have performed on numerous Gaither Homecoming videos and were fixtures on the Gaither Homecoming Concert Tour from 1999-2005. They have graced the most legendary stages in America including Carnegie Hall, Radio City Music Hall, the Ryman Auditorium and the Grand Ole Opry. The Talleys were featured guests on the Billy Graham Crusade and have appeared on television with Pastor John Hagee, Dr. Charles Stanley and Oral Roberts Ministries. 2011 began a new chapter for the Talleys with the marriage of Lauren Talley to Brian Alvey. Brian joins the Talleys on stage to make the group a foursome for the first time, bringing a new excitement to their concerts with his impressive vocal skills and extensive musical abilities, playing multiple instruments on stage.
Our special speaker this year is Dr. J.K. Warrick, General Superintendent in the Church of the Nazarene. A pastor at heart, he considers his role as general superintendent an opportunity to join his colleagues in shepherding the global church. He has a heart for church planting, evangelism, world missions, discipleship, and compassionate ministries. Central to his ministry is the encouragement of the people of God to find a place of service and ministry in the church and community. He is passionate about the church and conveys the Gospel in a dynamic, spirit-filled way that will touch your heart.
The cost for the day is $23 and includes all programming, hot buffet lunch and a special gift from the university. You can register by calling 815-928-5791. Don’t miss this great time of fellowship at Olivet Nazarene University!
