Shine.FM presents the Grammy®-nominated and platinum-selling band Newsboys in concert Friday, Feb. 3, 2017. The “Love Riot Tour” performance will take the stage at Centennial Chapel on the campus of Olivet Nazarene University, Bourbonnais, Illinois, at 7 p.m.
Tickets are available online at Chicago.Shine.FM
beginning December 9.
The concert will feature a theatrical experience, “God’s Not Dead LIVE! Rivals.” The show is written and produced by John and Sarah Bolin (“The Thorn”) and features original songs from Juan Otero (“Born Again,” “Kings & Queens”). “Rivals” brings an ensemble cast of singers, actors and dancers together to answer the question, “Can God really make a difference?”
The producers describe the show as “a journey to an infamous music venue where stars are born, rivals are met and no one leaves the way they came in.”
“With this tour, we wanted to try something brand new, something different,” said Michael Tait, lead singer for Newsboys. “There's something about drama, seeing scenes acted out, lived out, right in front of you that has a different effect. We are very excited about sharing this new theatrical experience with our fans.”
“Audiences are in for a real treat in the ‘Rivals’ production,” said Brian Utter, Shine.FM manager. “The Centennial Chapel stage is a perfect venue for this spectacle, and we expect Newsboys fans — long-time fans and new ones alike — to soak in every moment of the experience.”
