Students rest easy even during finals week

Outstanding partnerships with successful, generous organizations like Tempur Sealy help Olivet Nazarene University continue to provide the best environment possible for students to learn and live.
Every night, Americans sleep an average of 6.8 hours — probably fewer for college students, especially during finals week. But Olivet students might be logging more hours of shut-eye than most, thanks to the great sleep they get on Tempur-Pedic® mattresses.
In one of the largest material donations ever made to Olivet, Tempur Sealy International has donated $2 million worth of Tempur-Pedic mattresses for use in all University housing.
These mattresses provide cost savings for students and parents as well as the University. “Students were bringing their own mattress toppers to their rooms,” says Jimmy Southerland, a junior and resident assistant in Nesbitt Hall. “Now, each residential student has a comfortable mattress plus a choice of using the softer side or the firmer side.”
Outstanding partnerships with successful, generous organizations like Tempur Sealy help Olivet continue to provide the best environment possible for students to learn and live.
“When I tell my friends from other colleges about the Tempur-Pedic mattresses at Olivet, they always have a wide-eyed expression on their faces,” says senior Madison Karrick. “Even my parents are impressed!”
