, a time of hope, encouragement and inspiration for women of God. Guest speaker Lisa Harper of the Women of Faith Tour and Dove-award-winning artist Meredith Andrews headline the program. The Olivetians will provide special music, and the day also includes a luncheon.
The event takes place on Saturday, April 26, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Centennial Chapel. Lisa Harper
is a storyteller and scholar who has touched women worldwide through her ministry. Her unique combination of humor and theology communicates Bible truths in a way that reaches modern audiences. For six years, she served as director of Focus on the Family’s national women’s ministry, where she created the popular Renewing the Heart women’s conference. She was also the women’s ministry director at a church in Nashville for six years.
Lisa has a Master of Theological Studies degree with honors from Covenant Seminary in St. Louis, Mo. She has written ten books and has two best-selling video-based Bible study curriculums. She has appeared on syndicated radio and television programs, and was featured on the cover of Today’s Christian Woman. Currently, she is a featured speaker on Women of Faith Tour 2014, “From Survival to Revival” — an event that reaches thousands of women with messages of God’s love and grace.Meredith Andrews
grew up in a house filled with music, and began singing in church at age six. While in college, she felt God call her into music ministry. She signed with Word Records in 2006 and has released three albums with the label. Her sophomore album, “As Long As It Takes,” received a Dove Award in 2011 as “Worship Album of the Year.” She also won a Dove Award for the song “How Great Is The Love.” Her last album, “Worth It All,” was released in 2013. This project was charted by Billboard magazine as the 144th most popular album in the United States and seventh most popular Christian album for the week of Feb. 9, 2013.
In addition to her recording and performing career, Meredith serves as a worship leader for Harvest Bible Church in Chicago. She also travels with the Girls of Grace Tour, an event to help teen girls find their security in Christ.
