” featuring Michael and Amy Smalley, nationally-known marriage builders and couples’ consultants. This year’s event takes place on January 25, 2013, 7 p.m. (doors open at 6 p.m.), at the Betty and Kenneth Hawkins Centennial Chapel on the campus of Olivet Nazarene University, Bourbonnais, Ill. Michael and Amy Smalley,
best-selling authors and popular speakers, specialize in teaching couples the principles of loving well and loving for a lifetime. Known for their signature straightforward, no-nonsense advice, combined with a great sense of humor, the Smalleys share a powerful message that inspires, motivates and challenges couples to thrive in their relationships. Their presentations teach with entertaining stories and illustrations, allowing their audiences to learn through laughter. They have spoken to millions of people around the world through live events and special speaking engagements.
In 2006, Michael and Amy launched the Smalley Intensive program, working closely with couples to teach them valuable skills to maintain their marriages. They are also the co-founders of The Smalley Center for intensive marriage coaching with six U.S. locations.

specializes in teaching women and couples through stories and illustrations, allowing her audiences to learn key marriage relationship principles through her own transparency. She also does one-, two- and three-day Smalley Intensives for couples.
Michael and Amy’s love story began while they were undergraduates at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. They have enjoyed 16 years of marriage together and make their home near Houston. They have three children: Cole, Reagan, and David.
