One of Olivet’s newest faculty members, Professor Robertson currently serves as the lead professor for courses in Christian formation, Christian ministry and Christian worship. He also teaches courses in the areas of church leadership, and faith and culture.
He has a strong interest and is participating in the “emerging church” conversations among leaders of churches of the Holiness tradition. Dialogue and discussions address the Church’s need to increase its engagement with society, and the positive and hopeful expression of what it means to be the Church in today’s world.
In his leisure time, Professor Robertson thrives in the outdoors — backpacking, kayaking, mountain biking, hunting — especially in the Pacific Northwest. He is proud to be an avid Ohio State University Buckeye football fan.
He and his wife, Jenelle, share the love of traveling and being food connoisseurs. They enjoy discovering new restaurants together wherever they go. The busy Robertson household also includes their two sons, Zach and Colton.
