Mark Holcomb

 Rev. Holcomb serves as the chaplain to the University, and is responsible for the programming of Olivet’s chapel services, which are held twice a week in the Centennial Chapel.

In addition to his role as chaplain, Rev. Holcomb teaches courses on youth ministry and the fundamentals of Christian ministry, and is also the program director for Olivet’s M.A. and M.Min. degrees in youth ministry.

In 2002, he received the Timothy Award, honoring his 23 years as a youth pastor. From 2000 to 2009, he served as regional NYI president. From 2005 to 2009, he was the chairman of the USA Canada NYI committee and vice president of the Global NYI Council. In 2009, he was elected Global NYI president and continues serving in that capacity today.

He has written devotionals and articles for Barefoot Publishing and writes for Holiness Today. His personal interests include reading, playing basketball, cycling, spending time on the beach and taking walks with his wife, Terry.

Their daughter Kristin lives in Middletown, Ind., with her husband, Luke, and sons, Brayden (7/6/2007) and Bradley (1/17/2010). Their daughter Kelli lives in Chicago with her husband, Chris, and son, Jackson (1/7/2010).
