Dr. Blanchette serves as the director of the children’s ministry undergraduate degree program and the family ministry graduate degree program. He teaches a variety of children’s ministry and Christian education classes, as well as Christian Formation and Scriptures I.
Ordained as an elder in the Church of the Nazarene in 1993, he served as a children’s pastor for 18 years. Currently, he is a board member of the Nazarene Children’s Leadership Network.
He and his wife, Teri, have two daughters, Sarah and Emily. His hobbies include cooking, gardening and most any sport.
