With more than 40 years of experience as a postsecondary administrator, Dr. Rattin gives administrative oversight to assessment, program review, and academic compliance.

Her areas of expertise include designing individualized student success programs, accommodating students with disabilities, facilitating the transition of students from high school to university-level learning, assessing program and student learning outcomes; and conducting program review.

With a zeal for improving Olivet’s service to students, Dr. Rattin has served on several internal committees, including assessment, general education, honors, financial aid, and admissions and recruitment. She is also an active member of Kappa Delta Pi, the education honor society; the National Association of Developmental Educators (NADE); and the Higher Learning Commission.

In addition to her academic responsibilities, she is a speaker for women's retreats and other special events. Her "Looking Glass Seminars," including "Through the Looking Glass" and "It's Tea Time," are designed to help Christian women deal with the myriad women's issues prevalent in our culture.

In her leisure time, Dr. Rattin and her husband, Nathan, enjoy exploring the coasts of Lake Michigan, visiting home improvement shows, entertaining friends, and keeping up with their four adult children.

Romans

12:2

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
