A professor in higher education since 1989, Dr. Moore teaches middle and secondary school methods, educational and developmental psychology, educational research and applied research project.
Before joining Olivet’s faculty, she was an educator in the early childhood field for several years; director of a preschool; a NCATE coordinator; a reading consultant; and a popular presenter at conferences and local schools. She has also served on the children's curriculum committee at Nazarene headquarters.
Her publications include the study guide for the "Rendezvous" series; Sunday school lesson curriculums; and the "Kidz Passport to Missions" mission lessons.
Dr. Moore is a member of the International Reading Association and Kappa Delta Pi, the education honor society.
She enjoys cooking, decorating and home renovation. One of her greatest joys is entertaining ONU students in her home.
Her love for travel has taken her many places — ministry teaching assignments overseas with her husband, Frank, who is a professor in Olivet’s School of Theology and Christian Ministry; and beach vacations with their son, Brent, and his wife, Nikki, and their children.
