College of Arts and Sciences

M.O.E. (Curriculum and Instruction), 2011, Olivet Nazarene University
B.S., 2002, Olivet Nazarene University

Professor Ireland joined Olivet’s faculty in 2012. She teaches courses in math methods, math for elementary teachers, algebra, and trigonometry, and also works with students in the math education program.

Previously, she taught math classes at Bradley-Bourbonnais Community High School for nine years. During that time, she also completed her master’s degree and earned her principal’s certificate.

In 2012, Professor Ireland began jogging and soon entered a half marathon. This may be the first of more distance running events for her. One of her favorite leisure activities is playing the board game “Settlers of Catan.” She also teaches preschool Sunday School classes and volunteers in the nursery at Manteno Church of the Nazarene.

She and her husband, Kyle, are the parents of two daughters, Capri and Carsyn. Kyle is also an Olivet professor.

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
