College of Arts and Sciences

English and Modern Languages

Ph.D., candidate, Purdue University
M.A., 1999, University of Richmond
B.A., 1991, Olivet Nazarene University

Professor Knudson is excited to be back at her alma mater instructing in the English department.

She is an ONU graduate and has since received her master’s degree at Richmond University. She is currently a Ph.D. candidate at Purdue University working on a degree in literary studies with a concentration in medieval literature.

Of particular interest to Professor Knudson is the use of Scripture in medieval literary texts. When she is not spending time with her daughter, Grace, and husband, Scott, she enjoys collecting toy knights and miniature Christmas nativity sets.

Understanding is a wellspring of life unto him that has it: but the instruction of fools is folly.
