General Summary:
The Department of English and Modern Languages at Olivet Nazarene University seeks applicants for a full-time position as Assistant or Associate Professor of English with an emphasis in Creative Writing.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Teaching responsibilities include creative writing courses, first and second year composition courses, and basic writing. Faculty will also advise writing minors on their senior creative writing portfolios. Additional responsibilities include advising students, serving on department and university committees, and pursuing a scholarly agenda. 

Knowledge Skills and Abilities Required:
Preference will be given to candidates holding a Ph.D. in English with an emphasis in creative writing or a related field, though consideration will be given to applicants in progress toward a doctoral degree. Desirable secondary areas of expertise include ESL (including a teaching license), English education (teaching license preferred), and basic writing.
