Mark Reddy '95 was born in Kankakee, Illinois, and grew up in Indiana. He holds a bachelor's degree in history education from Olivet. He continued his education at Marian University and earned his master's degree in athletic administration from Ball State University.

A four-year Tiger football athlete and football co-captain, Mark served as the Tigers' defensive coordinator and taught courses in exercise science at Olivet from 2013 to 2015. From 2011 to 2013, he was the dean of students and head football coach at LaVille Junior/Senior High School in Lakeville, Indiana. During that time, he and his administrative team guided the high school from a “D” to “A” rating, based on Indiana's Public School grading system. As athletic director at Eastern Hancock High School in Charlottesville, Indiana, from 2003 to 2007, he led the rejuvenation of a defunct sports booster club and created a sportsmanship policy for the teams.

Mark and his wife, Tracey (Dufek) '96, are the parents of four daughters: Maddison, Tatum, Morgan and Teegan. His parents, brother and sister are also Olivet graduates.

“I'm a product of the high moral and spiritual standards of the Olivet Tigers' athletic program,” Mark says. “I join Olivet in upholding the importance of character, service and doing everything for the Lord, as we read in Colossians 3:17. I believe that success is a byproduct of students striving to do their best in the classroom and outside the classroom. We are ambassadors for Christ wherever we are and wherever we go.”

Romans

12:2

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
