Dr. Ellis teaches in the Department of Biblical Studies. His professional areas of interest include the New Testament and narrative criticism.
His book, “Paul and Ancient Views of Sexual Desire: Paul’s Sexual Ethics in 1 Thessalonians 4, 1 Corinthians 7, and Romans 1,” was published in 2007. His writings have also appeared in the spring 2002 and fall 2003 issues of “Perspectives in Religious Studies.”
In his free time, Dr. Ellis enjoys fishing, hunting, singing, writing and spending time with his wife, Terri.
