Professor Stipp joined Olivet as a full-time professor with the School of Education in 2013. His first year as a faculty member was spent planning and writing the undergraduate Special Education Teacher Training Program at Olivet, which began offering classes in spring 2015.
Professor Stipp served as a special education teacher on the southwest side of Chicago at the elementary and middle school levels for 10 years. He is currently enrolled in a doctoral program at Johns Hopkins University.
He met his wife, Elizabeth — a 2001 Olivet graduate — at Martinez Tacos in Kankakee when they were ONU students. Today, they are the proud parents of six children: Isaac, Suzie, Eli, Rozalie, Betsy and Marigold.
