Mark Lamping

Professor Lamping joined Olivet's full-time faculty in 2015. He teaches courses in human development and education, and in math and science methods.

His professional experience includes 36 years of teaching middle school students in both Kansas and Illinois. He is a member of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics.

Not many people know that he is a member of the International String Figure Association. Learn more about this unique hobby at http://www.isfa.org.

Professor Lamping and his wife, Brenda, are the parents of two adult children who are both Olivet alumni. Meagan (Lamping) McCann, and her husband, Wade, graduated with the Class of 2009. Jeffrey and his wife, Anna (Smit), graduated with the Class of 2010.
