Before joining Olivet’s faculty in 2006, Dr. Ingram taught academic writing to sophomore law students for two years at the Royal University of Law and Economics in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

As an associate professor, Dr. Ingram teaches college writing, creative writing, visual literacy, and several ESL courses on teaching and cross-cultural studies. She is a member of the Academy of American Poets, Cambodian Association of Illinois, National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE), and Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL).



In addition to assisting with Olivet’s Missions In Action (M.I.A.) trips, Dr. Ingram has worked with the English Language Institute/China (ELIC) and Footsteps Missions. She has been leading ESL camps in the United States, as well as in Africa, Asia, China and Europe for more than 10 years.
